RAD (recycle a dunger) Bikes – a community bike shed

This  project was presented  by Gap Filler

The RAD Bikes community bike shed is a temporary micro-architecture project that is located at 165 Gloucester St for the summer. It is also a workshop space where anyone can build or repair their own bicycles or help restore bikes for ICECycles to give away. The RAD Bikes’ team ran several workshops  across Labour Weekend as part of the festival so that keen folk could fix and fiddle with their bikes.

The shed designers gave a talk on the project on Saturday 26 October. To read more this, click here

This is an ongoing project, so please check out RAD Bikes Facebook Page or the Gap Filler website.

RAD Bikes now resides on the corner of High and Cashel Streets.

The site for this project was brokered by Life in Vacant Spaces
