Foraging Tour, 8.30am–12.30pm, Sat 22 Oct

This walking tour, led by forager Peter Langlands, explored the diversity of foraged foods that are available in the Lyttelton Harbour Basin. Participants learnt how to identify the main types of foraged greens and foods available, as well as how to avoid poisonous species. They were also shown some quick and practical ways of preparing foraged foods, and and then got to taste the fruits of their labour.

The project was presented by Ground Food Tours.
