Director Jessica Halliday

According to her twitter account, Dr. Jessica Halliday is “blessed (and cursed) by love of architecture & Christchurch”. She is an architectural historian and is the co-director and co-founder of Te Pūtahi – Christchurch centre for architecture and city-making. Since 2012 she has been the director of the Festival of Transitional Architecture FESTA.

Jessica completed her PhD in Art History in 2005 at the University of Canterbury. She’s currently a Trustee of the Canterbury Society of Arts Charitable Trust (which governs the Centre of Contemporary Art) and also on the national committee for DOCOMOMO NZ, the New Zealand chapter of the Organisation for the Documentation and Conservation of the Modern Movement in Architecture as well as the Steering Committee for Agropolis Urban Farm.
