This symposium explored the environmental, cultural, economic and social values of resourcefulness in relation to the ‘reduce and reuse’ priorities for zero waste. A group of environmental experst, designers and other gathered to discuss the issues.
The outcomes of this event relate to the work of: waste minimisation leaders in local and central government; academics in design, craft, reuse & waste-related sciences; student/graduate designers & architects; community resource recovery organisations; resourceful design, craft & architecture practitioners; occupational therapists with interest in therapeutic value of resource recovery; business leaders in waste minimisation; those involved with wellbeing economics, community strengthening, local resourcefulness, and the second-hand goods markets.
This project was presented by Rekindle with the support of Objectspace.
