Kiwi artist Tess Sheerin has embarked on a nation-wide mural tour to highlight issues of water pollution and it’s damaging effects on marine life. The murals already grace walls in Queenstown and Dunedin and will shortly be completed in Christchurch, Wellington and finally Auckland.
To coincide with each mural Sheerin co-ordinates and supports clean-up events and public awareness campaigns that concentrate on waterways, lakes and coastal areas around New Zealand.
A group gathered at The Commons on Saturday morning for the Christchurch clean-up in an effort to help us protect our means.
This project was presented by Tess Sheerin with Gap Filler.
