The Transitional City Festival
Over Labour Weekend 2013 the Christchurch public rediscovered the city centre by participating in the myriad of events, animations and workshops that ran as part of the free and public Festival of Transitional Architecture (FESTA). Around 20,000 people attended 48 events, which gave life to the city’s heart and opened it up to the community’s desire to participate in its making.
