    4.50pm Gather at the Sounds Like Dinner installation (605 Colombo Street) to join in the parade

    5 pm The children’s parade begins. See their costumes made from food packaging. Along Mollett Street, with support from Creative Junk and featuring Young Chinese Lions (dancers)


    Demonstration Station and Speakers’ Corner with Audrey Baldwin

    From 5.15pm: quick-fire talks throughout the night including Simon Gray at 5.20pm on how bread brings people together, Peter Wells from Ōtākaro Orchard at 6pm, Bailey Peryman at 7pm from Cultivate Christchurch, and many more.

    From 5.30pm: demonstrations 30 minutes past the hour, every hour: Grater Good Vegan Butchery, Hope River Pies, Spring Collective, Beefy Green & The Spirits Workshop.
